The Iranian regime has been under attack by the people for some time to demand more freedom and democracy. However, the release of a video involving a senior Iranian regime official is triggering a new wave of protests, outrage, and anger.

The leak came courtesy of the opposition and German-based Telegram channel “Radio Gilan.” A video starring Reza Tsaghati, a senior member of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance who was to enforce the Islamic values imposed by the 1978 Islamic Revolution led by then Ayatollah Khomeyni.
This is not the first case of a senior regime official caught in attitudes contrary to the principles of the Islamic Revolution. Prior to the Tsghati case, a few days ago, a similar case with another Mullah Mehdi Haghshenas (also a member of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance) also accused of having sexual relations with another man was concealed by the same Iranian authorities.

This case, however, was hidden, as we said, because Mehdi Haghshenas had the first activist against compulsory veiling convicted in 2017, Vida Movahed.
Strong anger has seized Iranian society at the Iranian regime that considers homosexuality (besides discriminating against and subjugating women) as an impure act with the harshest Laws in the world against the “crime” of homosexuality, which also provided the death penalty.
The cases of the two Mullahs caught in homosexual attitudes have shown (if there was still a need) the hypocrisy of the upper echelons of the Islamic Revolution at the helm of Iran.
